Mission Statement

In pursuit of the vision of the Department and the University, it is the mission of this Department:

to produce outstanding internationally accepted graduates who:

- are innovative, analytical and articulate

- actively pursue continued professional education

- have an acute sense of ethical standards and values

to strive through teaching, interaction with the profession, research and community service, to contribute to the advancement of international scholarship and the development of the Eastern Cape, South Africa and Africa.
