Richard Poole (BCom, PDipAcc, MCom (Taxation) (Rhodes))

Richard was born in Grahamstown and matriculated from Kingswood College in 1995. He is the third year Taxation co-ordinator in the Department of Accounting, is responsible for the coursework component of the PG Dip Tax course, and presents the elective in Taxation and Estate Planning in the Law Faculty.

Richard’s non-academic activities are diverse: tax lecturer by day, jazz musician by night. Richard spends much of his time devoted to fund-raising activities for charity, plays competitive bowls on weekends, and sits on the board of a local non-profit organisation involved in education in underpriviledged schools in the Grahamsown area.
