John McNeill has been warden of Winchester House since 1988 and warden of Allan Webb Hall since 1998. Before studying at University John worked in the Rhodesian Army for several years. When he joined Rhodes University in 1983 he did a B.Sc (Information Processing) with majors in Accounting and Computer Science, and a B.Sc(Hons) in Computer Science. He then went on to read for a Master of Science in Software Engineering at the School of Science, Technology and Engineering at Monmouth University in West Long Beach, New Jersey in the USA. John is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Information Systems at Rhodes University and is the author of several reports and papers. His research area is in and around the discipline of Software Engineering, with specific interests in high-level system development productivity tools, measurement of individual contribution in a group environment, and teaching knowledge area specification. He is an active member within the governance of Rhodes University, sitting on the following committees: the Boards of the Faculties of Commerce and Science; the Commerce Faculty Higher Degrees Committee; the Information Technology Steering Committee (ITSC); the Joint Physical Planning Committee and the Aesthetics Committee; the Lecture Venues Committee (Chair); Campus Security Committee and the Financial Aid Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Residences; the Conference and Vacation Accommodation Committee (COVAC) as well as the Allan Webb Hall Committee and Winchester House Committee. Judy Seymour is the warden of Canterbury House and started in 2009. Judy works in the Management Division of Rhodes University. Sma Ngcamu is the warden of Canterbury Annexe House as of January 2009.She is reading towards a PhD degree in Ergonomics. Sma is also the Warden's representative in the AWA committee and serves on the Allan Webb Hall Committee and Canterbury Annexe House comittee. Markus Mostert has been warden of Salisbury House since 2008. He holds a Masters Degree in Computer-Assisted Education from the University of Pretoria. As the Coordinator of Educational Technology in the Academic Development Centre at Rhodes, his primary responsibility is to assist academic staff with integrating Information Technology into teaching and learning. Anne Warring has been warden of Truro House since 1994. Anne holds a BA and the Certificate in Management Practice from Rhodes University, and a NDPR from PE Technikon. Sr. Rosemary Büchner has been Fellow of Allan Webb Hall since 2003. Rose was previously the Sister in charge of the Sanatorium at Rhodes University before retiring and working with the Sisters of the Community of the Resurrection of Our Lord, Grahamstown - the same sisters that used to live in Allan Webb Hall before the University acquired the property. She now works for a Doctors Practice in town.
