Information and Education Systems Coordinator
Saide seeks to appoint an Information and Education Systems Co-ordinator to join a dynamic and highly professional organization, with a track record of contributing to educational transformation. Saide is a non-profit organization established in 1992, which undertakes about 40 commissioned or grant-supported projects concurrently in South Africa and the sub-Saharan region. The incumbent will be based in Johannesburg and will:
? Manage the various educational ICT applications currently running at Saide.
? Advise, train and support Saide staff on new applicable software for educational purposes and information management.
? Develop Saide’s ICT support systems for the smooth and effective operations of the organization.
? Provide educational technology services to Saide projects as required.
? Manage the digital systems support as appropriate.
? Backup in the Resource Centre and support the maintenance of various Saide websites.
? Have appropriate experience and/or undergone training in:
? e-learning technologies, and
? managing small computer networks;
? Have effective written/oral communication skills;
? Exercise initiative, be flexible and hardworking;
? Enjoy working in teams as well as independently.
? Have completed an honours degree in Information Systems or cognate discipline.
