Cape Town Reunion 2011

A fantastic gathering of 150 Rhodents attended the Cape Town reunion on the 23rd September at the Commodore Hotel  The reunion was hosted by Dr Badat and the MC was David Wicks (1980).  Andrew Chin (1987) gave an inspirational speech about his participation in the Patagonia Extreme Cold Swim Challenge, which incorporated three of the world's toughest cold water swims.

Thank you to all who attended and for wearing your purple proudly!  As Dr Badat said, "it is wonderful to be surrounded by so many Old Rhodians such as you, who despite your busy schedules, continue to value your student days in Grahamstown and take the time to reaquaint yourselves with old friends and to rediscover how your little University and its current batch of students and staff continue to shine in our fast-changing world."
