Piet Retrief House
A 25 year reunion for the Gentlemen from Piet Retief House was recently held from 17th to 19th October in Knysna.
The residence had a fantastic spirit in the 1980's, and despite Rhodians from this res now being scattered around the world, 13 past students and their wives, 3 of them being Old Rhodians, attended a very festive weekend. Terry Roach travelled from Australia to attend the weekend. Knysna was chosen as it was Retief's Rag effort to travel to the Garden Route to sell Rag Mags and it was always a really memorable trip.
All have excelled and have become successful in their respective fields and Rhodes provided an incredible grounding for their achievements.
