Lindi Lombard completed her MFA with distinction at Rhodes University in 2014, and her Bachelor of Fine Art at Rhodes University in 2012 with a distinction in studio practice. She received a Raymond Pullen Art Prize, a Helen Timm bursary and a Rhodes University scholarship towards Masters Studies and she is also a member of the Golden Key. In 2012, Lindi Lombard was a top seven finalist in the Sasol New Signatures national art competition and walked away with a Merit prize. In 2013 she was a top 100 finalist in the ABSA L’ Atelier national art competition, in that same year she was again a top seven finalist in the Sasol New Signatures national art competition and walked away again with a Merit prize. Her Masters work analysed perceptions of space in relation to architecture, the body and vertigo. Her MFA supervisors were Prof Ruth Simbao (theory) and Tanya Poole (practice).
