Research Focus
My research focuses on the role of mitochondria in stem cell biology. Stem cells hold great promise for the future of regenerative medicine and drug discovery. Understanding the regulatory balance that maintains stem cell self-renewal and differentiation will allow for the biotechnological exploitation of this biomedical resource.
