Our main focus is to strenthen all students concerning their career development and to assist them in building realistic career goals.

The Rhodes University Career Centre offers a counselling and career education service to students to assist them with their study and career choice, career planning and career development while studying at university. Through the voluntary Rhodes Career Development Programme we aim to encourage and enable students to make and implement well-informed decisions about their future careers, their ongoing career development and to be as Career Literate as possible on graduating.
We offer:
- 30 minute individual sessions on an appointment basis
- Brief walk in queries from 11h00 to 13h00 and from 14h00-15h00 daily (No appointments to be made on these times)
- Career assessments and career guidance
- Workshops on CV writing, Interview Preperation and Career Success (not during exams)
We also have 5 computers to be used only for career related matters. You are always welcome to use them

Although we are located on the first floor of the Stephen Biko Building, students with disabilities are catered for so please feel free to make an appointment if needed and we can make the necessary arrangements.
