Lecturer (Physical Organic Chemistry)
Dr Lobb spent two years as NMR specialist before taking up the post as a Lecturer in 2008 in the department. Among other things, he currently maintains the chemistry computer cluster, and provides support to other research groups in molecular modelling.
Currently he is also involved in a project involving Protein NMR.
Research interests: Carbocations and Carbocation Rearrangements, Kinetics and Mechanism.
