Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education
The purpose of the qualification, registered on the NQF at honours level, is to facilitate the professional development of lecturers in higher education by developing their knowledge of higher education as a field of study and by assisting them to enhance their ability to facilitate, manage and assess students’ learning.
The programme runs over two years and takes the form of four core modules and one elective module. Participants meet once a week for 90 minute contact sessions during the University teaching terms.
