Bryony Winn (2003) Youngest Ever Partner at McKinsey & Co in Chicago

Bryony Winn is a Partner in McKinsey and Company’s Chicago office and a leader in both the Healthcare and Deals and Transactions practices. She joined McKinsey in the London office where she served a range of private and public sector healthcare and pharmaceutical clients across Europe and Africa. Since moving to the United States, she has primarily served payor clients, predominantly on growth strategy topics.

Bryony works at the intersection of McKinsey’s Healthcare Systems and Services and Organization practices with a current focus on mergers and integration for payors. Her recent payor experiences include developing a local market strategy for a single state payor, focusing on provider partnerships and capabilities to succeed post-reform, assessing joint venture opportunities between a large commercial hospital system and national payor to reduce costs and improve quality of care in two markets, and developing an end-to-end integration plan for a commercial payor multi-state merger.

Before joining McKinsey, Bryony completed an MPhil degree in International Development at the University of Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar. She has been recognized as a Southern African Leader of Tomorrow, an accolade awarded to fewer than 30 young leaders in Africa by Who’s Who.
