I am deeply saddened by the passing of my friend Trevor Pengelly, a friend of 50 years, we danced at balls at Rhodes University, Sang together in the Rhodes University Chamber Choir - toured with the choir, and have kept in touch for many years. He was a passionate person about everything he did and his smile was glorious. Both Jenny and Trevor studied to become Ministers in the Theology Department at Rhodes but were not allowed to practise when they married because of different churches. Trevor loved cooking and writing and was astute at both. He attended the recent Choir Concert and sang Sweet Nightingale with the Choir in Johannesburg.  May God bless his soul, and his family.
