Hans Krijger (1999)

After Rhodes Hans spent 5 years working in Johannesburg; first as an analyst programmer in logistics at UTi Worldwide, then as a developer in online gaming at Dariel Solutions, and finally as a consultant at Mint Management Technologies. In 2006 he was recruited by Microsoft and moved to Seattle to work on the Internet Explorer team.

Hans spent two years there, first in Performance and Security and then in Compatibility and Sustained Engineering while they shipped IE7, Windows Server 2003 SP2, Windows Server 2008, and IE8. That was followed by a two year stint at MSN Mobile, where he made sure they covered World Cup 2010, among other things. In the almost three years since then, he has been at Bing Mobile working on the next generation of mobile search. Currently building the new search experience for Windows Phone 8, which will ship later this year.
