Lisa MacLeod has won Woman in Business of the Year in the South African Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2012. Currently an assistant editor at the Financial Times Lisa has been involved in most of the strategic newsroom integration projects at the FT over the past nine years, and been part of the senior management team for the past few years. She has worked on transforming the editorial operation from a predominantly print focused business towards becoming a digital powerhouse. Fiancial Times now have 4 million registered users on FT.com and a combined print and digital audience of 2.1 million people every day. Digital subscriptions continue to grow strongly and are now at over 312,000, up 26% year on year. Lisa is also a Trustee of the Rhodes University UK Trust and Board Member of the World Editors Forum.
