The Department of Political and International Studies will host a public lecture which will be presented by the Deputy Minister of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO), Honourable Luwellyn Landers on Wednesday,14 September 2016.

At the lecture, the Deputy Minister will outline the role DIRCO is playing in successfully implementing South Africa’s foreign policy objectives and give an update on international developments pertaining to South Africa’s participation in various regional, continental and multinational forums. The programme also seeks to share with non-state actors’ government’s foreign policy views – with the hope that both the government and the public will benefit from stakeholders’ own views and opinions.
