BingBee Kiosk

The CSD were very proud to partner the Rhodes University Computer Science Dept. in establishing a groundbreaking facility for children at the Raglan Road Multi-Purpose Community Centre. This involved a small building with 10 computer kiosks that are accessed from an outside verandah by way of touch-screen technology. It serves the need to identify out-of-school children, for providing extra-mural stimulation and for a safe place to play. 

The Bing Bee facility also complements the Computer Centre that is already running successfully at Raglan Road, and will dovetail well with the proposed new Fingo Village Community Library to be built on the premises.
