Why do I have to sign class records?
The DHET requires that we provide evidence that a student is active in a particular course on census day for subsidy purposes. Departments are receiving class work during the term and are best placed to say whether a student is active or not. Removal of the DP and failure to submit work are all indicators that the student is not active.
