Are you dedicated, have loads of energy and love working with children? Then sign-up to become a student volunteer in the Early Childhood Development (ECD) programme!

Student volunteers support the activities of the Centre for Social Development (CSD) by visiting selected pre-schools and providing stimulating activities, toys and games for the children. The most important developmental stages in a child’s life happen during their first few years. Investing in the needs of the very young child, especially children of the poor, is an effective strategy for enhancing their capacity to learn and benefit from schooling.
Children with a preschool background are better socialized, are less likely to drop out, adjust more quickly to formal learning, and achieve better results.

You don’t need any experience other than love working with children.
CSD will provide training on child development, managing children’s behaviour and play-based learning. Several other workshops focusing on making resources, storytelling and creative activities will be held during the year.
