As Heritage Day rolls around again it is important to remember that celebrating our Heritage is not just about having a braai, but also about protecting our Heritage so that (both present and future) others may celebrate it too. And so SEACC SF is asking you to join us as we really celebrate our Heritage.
When: 24th September 12h00
Where: Drostdy Arch
What: Plant-for-the-Planet & Moving Planet Demonstration
Why: To Protest For a More Progressive Carbon Tax (http://www.thepetitionsite.com/3/carbon/) & Afterwards to Plant Trees at Raglan Road Multi-Purpose Community Centre and in doing so leave behind a piece of heritage.
So bring your feet, bike, skateboard, or skates and join us in Moving the Planet.
The event will be part of a global climate change movement called Moving Planet Day (find out more here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ztEgLXSiek) as well as part of a broader campaign run by SEACC SF, which you can find out more about here: http://www.moving-planet.org/node/945
