THE DOGS MUST BE CRAZY
Ubom! Eastern Cape Drama Company recently returned from the Western Cape Schools Festival where they received standing ovations for their satirical romp, The Dogs Must Be Crazy. Based on an original concept by Mike van Graan, The Dogs Must Be Crazy takes a look at some of the pressing concerns of our age, with hilarious and heart-aching results. Dogs digs up many of our absurdities with an irreverent, energetic, and demandingly physical glee. Bristling with black humour, the production will tour to Harare International Festival of the Arts (Zimbabwe) in May.
Tickets for The Dogs must be Crazy will include a glass of wine before the show.

THE UGLY NOO-NOO
The Ugly Noo Noo rocked the local theatre world in 1988 with its unusual name, played by an unusual performer, featuring the infamous Parktown Prawn. The play combines sharp political satire with exquisite humour and superb technical skill. It became the benchmark for solo physical theatre performance and the legend of The Ugly Noo Noo was begun. Today, 20 years later, the extraordinary nature of the show and its creator continues to enthral and entertain audiences all over the world.
It has received 17 national and international awards, including a Fringe First and a Perrier Pick of the Fringe short-listing from the Edinburgh Festival. Awards were for the script, the direction and the performance.
An exclusive Cheese & Wine, kindly supported by Haricot’s, will precede the performance of The Ugly Noo-Noo and will serve as an official launch for the Reza de Wet Post-Graduate Bursary for Drama Students. This exciting event is included in the ticket for the show.
