Tim van Niekerk - Managing Editor

Tim van Niekerk (MA) joined the Dictionary Unit for South African English in 2000 as part of the editorial team for the South African Concise Oxford Dictionary (2002). Subsequently he moved to Cambridge, England where he worked for an electronic publishing company. There he became involved in the technical aspects of databases and publishing, before returning to the Dictionary Unit for South African English in 2004.  He helped to produce the Oxford South African Concise Oxford Dictionary (2010).
