ACE LO

Advanced Certificate in Education (ACE) in Life Orientation (LO)

Life Orientation has become a compulsory subject at the FET (Further Education and Training) Phase, but very few teachers have been prepared to offer it. This course aims to qualify teachers with little to no grounding in pyschology, school guidance or Life Orientation to be able to teach the subject in Grades 10-12. The course covers all aspects of the curriculum, with a particular focus on the special approach that Life Orientation requires. This course is not being offered in 2009.
