LECTURER (BEdHons Coordinator)
Robert Kraft - BA (Rhodes), BA (Hons)(Wits), PGCE (Rhodes), MSc (Manchester)
Robert is responsible for coordinating the Rhodes Department of Education’s BEd (Hon) programs in Grahamstown and Namibia and for Academic Development for the PGCE, BEd (Hon), MEd and PhD students and selected ACE programs.
PGCE Method Instructor, Economics and Management Sciences (EMS)/Business Economics, Rhodes University, Education Department.
Previous work experience:
9 years in senior roles within the multi-racial Trade Union Council of South Africa.
19 years in senior consulting and management roles in Economics, HR, OD, Training and Technology Strategy with Bank of Montreal – one of the ‘big five’ Canadian banks.
Prior teaching experience:
2 years primary school teaching.
3 years teaching and program management at UNISA School of Business Leadership. Taught Economics and Labour Relations on the MBA, MDP and EDP programs.
Taught ‘Innovation’ on the MBA program at De Groote Business School, McMaster University, Canada.
3 years teaching project management in the Bank of Montreal’s corporate university.

Supervision and academic development, innovation policy and practices.
