Glenda Raven
Glenda completed her PhD in Environmental Education at Rhodes University in 2001. She works for the World Wide Fund for Nature, overseeing their Leadership for the Environment Programme. Glenda is also involved in the Eco-Schools Programme and a Human Resources Development Network for the Environmental Sector. Her research focussed on reflexive competence in environmental education professional development. Through this and other work, she has made many contributions to the development of environmental education, training and professional development in South Africa including her work as programme co-ordinator of the Cape Action for People and Environment Capacity Building Programme. The Rhodes Environmental Learning Research Programme periodically co-operates with Glenda on key activities related to environmental education and training in South Africa.
