Nthalevi Silo
Nthalevi Silo recently completed her PhD in Environmental Education at Rhodes University. She works as a lecturer at the University of Botswana in primary education. Her research interests are in children’s participation in environmental practices in primary schools. Working with cultural historical activity theory and action competence, Nthalevi’s work provides new orientation for understanding the cultural histories of children’s participation and how it influences their action competence and abilities to participate in environmental actions in schools and school communities.
