Soul Shava

Soul completed his PhD in Environmental Education in association with the Murray & Roberts Chair of Environmental Education at Rhodes University in 2008. Working with genealogical methods, Soul developed in-depth insights into indigenous knowledge applications and representations in environmental education research in southern Africa. Soul works with Aurecon Training Academy on water and other environmental training programmes. He periodically collaborates with the Environmental Learning Research Centre on educational projects related to indigenous knowledge, community-based natural resource management and cultural heritage education.
