Yvonne Nsubuga

Yvonne completed her PhD in Environmental Education in association with the Murray & Roberts Chair of Environmental Education at Rhodes University in 2009. Working with Bernstein’s theory of the pedagogic device, Yvonne developed insights into issues of curriculum implementation in rural schooling contexts in the Eastern Cape. Yvonne works at Rhodes University in the Education Department. She periodically collaborates with the Environmental Learning Research Centre on educational projects related to curriculum transformation and educational quality.
