Fred Opali is from Namibia and holds an honours degree in Literature and Language Studies and an M.A. in East African Poetry from Makerere University.
He is currently a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Dirk Klopper. His thesis which explores romantic preoccupations in Soyinka’s poetry is titled “ The Persistence of Romanticism in the Poetry of Wole Soyinka.”
His research interests include: English Romanticism, African Literature, Intertextual Studies and Discourse Analysis, Literary Theory, and Digital Literary Studies.
He is also an editor of literary journals and a reviewer of various conference papers.
