Dr Sally Hunt receives Thomas Alty Award

Sally Hunt, a lecturer in the Rhodes Linguistics department, was recently honoured with a Thomas Alty award. The award is given to every Rhodes employee who completes a Master's or PhD while employed at Rhodes. Dr Hunt, accompanied by her supervisor and the head of the Rhodes Department of English Language and Linguistics, Ralph Adendorff, received the award at a special ceremony. She was awarded R10 750 for having graduated with her PhD.
