Rhodes linguist Will Bennett has just published a book with Cambridge University Press: The Phonology of Consonants: Harmony, Dissimilation, and Correspondence. You can find out more about it here: www.cambridge.org/9781107073630
Wil says about the book, "It's a project I started on several years ago, after stumbling on the basic idea behind the theory back in 2007 while trying to explain some data from isiZulu. Now, after a lot of legwork (collecting data, analyzing it, rehashing and rethinking bits of the theory), and after a WHOLE lot of writing and revising, I'm delighted to finally see it in book form. And as a nod to the modern digital age, it's also available as an ebook, and comes with digital companion resources. I'm grateful to my colleagues here at Rhodes for providing such a supportive atmosphere while working on it -- and to many of our postgraduate students who helped proofread the manuscript."
The book focuses mainly on phonological patterns from 10 languages, but along the way it handles data from various other languages as well, from all over the world. You can see a map of them here: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=zUyxdpQ4m5K8.kGaJxw1JtmFE
