Honours in Linguistics and Applied Language Studies
The Honours programme allows student to tailor their curricula in the following flexible ways:
- You can do Linguistics Honours even if you don't have an undergraduate credit in Linguistics.
- You can specialize in one of a range of focus areas or undertake a personally defined study course in an area of their own choosing in consultation with a staff mentor.
- You can include a language credit from the School of Languages as an Honours module.
- You can include an Honours credit from another department.
- You can do joint Honours in Linguistics and another subject.
- Technical information: Degree credits: 120 NQF 8 [SAQA]; Time required: 1 year
