The SPCA is dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals through education, pro-active and reactive measures, and law enforcement. Many staff and students at Rhodes University, and people in the wider community, support SPCA Grahamstown in various ways.

Get involved in the ACTION:
- Donate to SPCA Grahamstown: Donations in the form of food, blankets or funds are always appreciated.
- Volunteer at SPCA Grahamstown: Take time to walk and play with animals sheltered at the SPCA (between 09h00 and 16h00). Contact the office for more info.
- Grahamstown Feral Cat Project: Support this humane solution for abandoned and feral cats in Grahamstown.
- Rhodes Organisation for Animal Rights (ROAR): Get involved through this active Rhodes University student group.
