On-campus facilities

Rhodes University has a system for collecting used printer cartridges. These are collected by companies for 're-manufacturing' and sale at a slightly lower price.

• Used laser printer cartridges - contact: Electronic Services secretary 046-603.8458 (laser cartridges are collected from the University by Tonink, 33 Pickering St, Newton Park, Port Elizabeth, 041-364.0795).
• Used inkjet printer cartridges - contact: Nikki Kohly 046-603.7205, n.kohly@ru.ac.za (inkjet cartridges will be collected from the University by GreenOffice).

Off campus facilities

Used printer cartridges are also collected by local businesses.
