RU Green
RU Green is the Rhodes University Node of the South East African Climate Consortium Student Forum (SEACC SF), which has amalgamated with GRASS. With strong partnerships and access to a large network of students from different academic disciplines, cultures and backgrounds, this student environmental society plays a valuable role in promoting sustainability at Rhodes University, in the wider community, and beyond.
RU Green is a non-profit student organisation that aims to lead a student crusade to tackle issues of sustainability and climate change. Their activities include various environmental events, and projects ranging from greening initiatives, lobbying campaigns, environmental education, environmental awareness campaigns, green economy initiatives and more.
