Water Circle
The Water Circle is a seminar series hosted by the Catchment Research Group. The monthly seminars on topics related to water, organised by students in the CRG, encourages interdisciplinary discussion around water issues.
The 2013 Water Circle Seminars kicked off with a focus on Karoo Water Watch, with agreement reached on conducting a feasibility study with regard to hydraulic fracking and its implications for ground water and for the agricultural sector. The group continues to strive towards interdisciplinary discussion and research around water issues.
