Sustainability Reporting
The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants notes that Sustainability Reporting is a valuable way to provide information to stakeholders regarding the an organisation's economic, environment and social performance.
The Integrated Reporting Committee (IRC) notes furthermore that "in the context of the global financial crisis and amidst increasing evidence that the current economic model is socially and environmentally unsustainable and that current reporting practice is not delivering, it is time for new and more effective forms of accountability".
Sustainability Reporting Working Group
Rhodes University's Sustainability Reporting working group aims to address such concerns by integrating sustainability into its annual reporting as a matter of course. Contact the convenor.
