Safety, Health & Environmental Officer: In 2007, the University took the decision to appoint a part-time Environmental Officer in order to give impetus to policy implementation and communications. At the end of 2009, this was combined with an unfilled Safety Officer post at the University, resulting in the employment of a Safety, Health & Environmental Officer.
