relating to environmental sustainability
The Anthropology Department at Rhodes University runs courses with an environmental focus for hundreds of students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. These include course on power and wealth (poverty and development); tourism; environmental anthropology; heritage issues; and the anthropology of development. The department is also coordinating a university wide, interfaculty, interdisciplinary, two-year, masters degree in Integrated Development, by coursework and thesis. It will have a number of coursework modules, one of which focuses on climate change.
