Fine Art
relating to environmental sustainability
The Fine Art Department offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in two subjects, Studio Practice and Art History & Visual Culture. Students studying Studio Practice are encouraged to use materials which are environment-friendly and undertake some projects which foster alertness to environmental issues. Art History & Visual Culture embraces a consideration of public art, including discussion of some of the innovative ways in which contemporary artists have incorporated ecological concerns into the commissions they have undertaken.
