relating to environmental sustainability
The Geography Department at Rhodes University runs courses that cover both physical geography and human geography, including aspects of social vulnerability and adaptation. These include 'Environment and Development in Africa' at third year level, and 'Integrated Catchment Management' and 'Rural Economy and Resource Utilization in Africa' at Honours level. Climate variability and change is a key theme of the first year course on Earth Systems, and is also covered in second year and third year courses.
