2009 events relating to environment

The following were held at Rhodes University, including Environmental Committee events, in 2009.

• Thursday 19 February 2009: Summer Saunter. 
• Thursday 19 March 2009: Case study on water, a lesson for the eastern Cape – or will we end up high and dry? Video relating to World Water Day (22 Mar).
• Thursday 21 May 2009: Botanical Gardens guided walk. Relating to World Biodiversity Day (22 May).
• Thursday 30 July 2009: Our carbon footprint – are we making progress? Video + panel discussion.
• 1-7 September 2009: Are we planting enough indigenous trees? Arbor Week at RU.
• Thursday 24 September 2009: A day out in the open. Heritage Day hike.
• Thursday 15 October 2009: Carbon dioxide, climate change, and inconvenient debates.
