Green Fund Run
An annual fun run/walk with a serious aim: to raise funds for Rhodes University's Green Fund, to support initiatives that promote sustainability.

Entry and Challenge Forms
- Green Fund Run Challenge 2011: Dare your colleagues, friends and even arch rivals to this challenge.
- Green Fund Run Entry Form 2011: Open to ALL. Team (maximum 3 members) OR individual entries are welcome. Register on Friday outside Eden Grove (Lucas Avenue) or at least 30 minutes before the start.
- Minimum donation: R10 per participant.
Prizes
- First 3 teams/individualscrossing the finishing line
- Best dressed team(judged according to the environmental theme)
- Best baton (judged according to the environmental theme).
Certificates and symbolic prizes - in the form of a tree being planted in honour of the achievement - will be awarded to these winners. The winners will have the opportunity to plant the trees, and the names of the winning teams will be included on the register of trees managed as a part of the Green Fund by the Environmental Committee.
Refreshments
Drinking water will be available at the start/finish line. Various local food outlets are usually open.
