Environmental law
Research in Environmental Law is a rapidly expanding field, both internationally and in South Africa. Research topics in this field may focus on aspects of administrative justice in the interests of environmental protection (environmental justice), retaining and expanding the scope for specialist courts such as the Environmental Court, and a critical analysis of the legal regime aimed at conserving and utilising indigenous biological resources in South Africa.
