Advanced Energy Foundation

The Advanced Energy Foundation (AEF), situated in Gauteng province, South Africa, is a registered Section 21 company. The main objective of the foundation is to promote, initiate and run programs, events and initiatives that advance technology in transportation and energy management. Their South African Solar Challenge (SASC) - a competition focussed on promoting the design, management, building and racing of solar-powered vehicle across South Africa - takes place every second year.
