Makana Environmental Forum
The Makana Environmental Forum was initiated in 2003 under the auspices of Makana Municipality’s portfolio committee on Environment, Disaster Management and Heritage, and the Directorate of Social and Community Services. The intention was to serve as a forum for collaborative engagement in a diverse range of environmental projects and activities in the Makana district.
MEF Meetings
The forum, under the chair of the portfolio committee of Environment, Disaster Management and Heritage, is meant to meet four times a year. Meeting dates are set by the Makana Environmental Manager (see below). Dates for 2013 are:
