It will also include opportunities to actually sit and write!
You are welcome to attend any or all of these Postgraduate Research Workshops.
Come along to this hands-on workshop to learn how to give a great academic presentation that wows audiences, blows their minds, wins their hearts and changes their world view forever! All welcome. Prepare for the PG Conference on 29-30 September or for any other Academic Presentation.
Do you need a kick-start to writing up or revising your research? Join us for a three-day retreat with two highly experienced facilitators, one from Humanities and one from Science, who will help you focus, re-think and develop your work. You are required to be committed to actually writing on the retreat, to be open to revision and experiment, and to bring texts or make sure you have access to material which you might need during the three days. The retreat will comprise full group exercises, parallel sessions for Humanities or Science writing, an opportunity for one-to-one consultations, and your own private, uninterrupted writing time. Come prepared to make some serious progress!
On behalf of Distinguished Professor Heila Lotz Sisitka, we would like to extend an invitation to her Vice Chancellor’s Distinguished Research Awards Lecture next week, entitled Transgressive Learning in Times of Climate Change.
