Youth Company Auditions
The First Physical Theatre Company is kindly supported by the National Arts Council of South Africa and Rhodes University. We offer sponsorship opportunities as well as corporate social responsibility avenues for funders, sponsors and supporters through a range of projects and programmes.
What do we do?
• We produce and tour current, innovative, arousing and stimulating physical theatre and dance events;
• We provide opportunities for learners, teachers, and the general public to share in the exhilaration of physical theatre;
• We develop skills amongst previously disadvantaged individuals to enhance professionalism and the economic viability of all dance forms;
• We distribute locally produced, insightful and integrated research and educational materials to teachers and other industry professionals.

We target specific markets that align with the sponsors needs and incorporate the sponsors message in advertising, public relations, sales promotion, and direct marketing activities of the company.
We can also provide entertainment and industrial theatre events for corporate clients, staff, shareholders and other stakeholders.

Who's our market?
• Audiences - Predominantly in the Eastern and Western Cape, KwaZulu Natal and Gauteng, mostly female and under the age of thirty.
• Previously Disadvantaged Individuals - Predominantly from rural and peri-urban areas in the Eastern Cape in the 14 - 25 years old age group targeted through skills development initiatives and the Youth Company.
• Schools, Dance Studios and Community Arts Centres - Including young learners of 14 - 18 years of age as well as teachers.
• Theatre Industry Professionals - Nationally and internationally targeted through merchandise, educational, archival and research materials as well as direct employment.
