Vashna Jagarnath MA, PhD (UKZN)
(Lecturer) PhD on the role of writing and archiving played in the political and philosophical development of Mohandas Gandhi in South Africa. Previous work includes an honours thesis on the history of Indian cinema in Durban and a masters thesis on the history of Sydenham (Durban) and the impact of apartheid racialised law on the community. Other interests include the history of African intellectuality and general history of modern South Asia.
