Is there a national framework for higher education qualifications?
What is SAQA? The HEQF?
Yes, the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) is available in the list of documents below. SAQA is the body responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the NQF. The HEQF is an integral part of the the NQF. This policy determines the qualifications structure for higher education and it applies to all higher education institutions, both public and private.
